LGGC Tourney Guidelines

  • This tourney is a 9-hole 2-Person SCRAMBLE.

    • Both members tee off on each hole.

    • The team selects the best tee shot and each play their second shots from that spot.

    • The process continues until the ball is holed, with the team selecting the best shot after each stroke.

    • The team records its score and moves to the next hole.

    • Each player must hit every shot.

    • For shots off of the green, each player must play within a club length of where the ball came to rest.

  • Please arrive at the course at least 20-30 min prior to your tee time to stretch & warm up!

  • Check-in at first tee 10 min prior to your tee time.

  • No caddies or golf carts allowed. Push carts are allowed.

  • Spectators are encouraged! Please stay back behind the golfers in the group you are following and off to the sides and back of the greens.

  • Players are not allowed to seek playing/club advice from spectators. Spectators can help find lost balls, cheer on players, help discuss rules and help count scores if needed.

  • If a player has a question about a rule or penalty strokes, he/she can refer to LGGC Rules Cheat Sheet (given at first tee) and/or ask the players in their group. Parents can help discuss rules if needed, it helps players learn.

  • One person in each group will carry the official scorecard and keep track of all players scores. All players are encouraged to also keep their own scorecard to reference at the end. Players will be disqualified if found their score is incorrect after signing their card.

  • 10 shot max on each hole, when you reach 10 pick up your ball please.

  • Scorecards must be checked, added up for a total score, signed by each player and turned into the tournament director when round is complete. Shake hands and congratulate each other!

  • In the case of ties, we will use scores from hole #1. If still tied, we will use scores from #2 and so on until we have a lower score.

  • Have fun and we hope to see you at our next LGGC tourney!
